Geometric Piece is a scrub sponge made by collaboration between 가화, who manufactures scrub sponges, and the design studio found/founded. The design differentiates it from conventional scrub sponges that have limited form and color combinations. With the new form and color, the daily necessities become an object or interior point. Geometric Piece is a useful household item with an interesting shape, so it is also good to give it out as light gifts. The soft material does not leave scratches on the bowl or dishes.

Cat tower < HEIM>, < SLIDE> H.O.U Design X Friendly Carpenter

◈ Brand Introduction
Hello, this is H.O.U Design, and we make furniture for pets. We produce Heim and Slide with the concept of pet furniture for city life. Like all startups, we started from dissatisfaction with the existing products. I’ve been looking for cat towers for my cat, Carry, but they were either too big, didn't fit in with the interior, or were not right for my living environment. We designed the cat tower to be an all-in-one product. The internal footrest is used as a catwalk, the upper plate as a rest area, and the strings are tied to the pillars to be used as a scratcher. With this product, the small living space of living in the city does not interfere with the pets' living space. Nevertheless, it is also easily melted into the interior since it shares the same design as the other furniture. We design you and your space where you stay close to your pets for a long time.

Loess series PICT Studio X LAB.CRETE

The Loess series is an attempt to expand the use and meaning of materials that have been used in Korea in the past.Ocher soil is a material that has been used in Korean culture for a long time. Since ancient times, ocher soil has been used as an architectural material to cover the walls and floors of a house. It was also used as a natural dye and was used to improve the soil as well as earthenware and roof tiles. This material is collected from nature and is known to be good for the human body because it has various effects such as humidity control, temperature maintenance, and electromagnetic absorption. However, the use and meaning of the ocher soil are gradually shrinking as the modern environment changes. In terms of architecture, rice straws, trees, stones, and soil have been used together. This combination and production method of natural materials has the advantage of increasing the materials’ strength while making them lighter. Inspired by the wisdom of dealing with the material and the nature of the material that has been used for a long time, I would like to extend its use and meaning once again by paying attention to the warmness and coziness of the material.
