The “Decomponent” series is a series of furniture pieces that borrows the unique aesthetic of traditional brass-bound Korean furniture. It is based on the concept that the arrangement of brass evokes a unique oriental and classical aesthetic. By keeping only the arrangement of the brass and transforming the form and function, materials and colors into modern ones, the series is designed to allow traditional and modern aesthetics to coexist.

"It was a great opportunity to try out a finish that we've been experimenting with, tinting wood, on a real prototype. The collaborative process with the designers allowed us to experiment with new colors that we hadn't planned to use ourselves, and we look forward to seeing this method of staining wood become more popular and incorporated into our daily lives."
