The Proustian Phenomenon, named after the
author of In Search of Lost Time, refers to the triggering of memories by
certain scents. Like a piece of nature itself, the ceramic diffuser is a
reflection of the hope that scent can evoke a variety of senses, triggering
images, and hopefully leading to fond memories. The vessel of the diffuser is
designed with a natural and woody feel in ceramic to match the existing product
of DAVY Co., Ltd, wood sticks for diffusers, and the naturalness of the
diffuser container, in addition to the comfort of the scent, makes it suitable
for any space.

"Trying new things is always
interesting and makes us happy. At the DDP Design Launching Fair, we met some
great designers and had a great time collaborating on various challenges and
implementing different ideas."
Designer Sang-ah Shin
"We set out to design a new
ceramic diffuser container with a wood look that would match the existing DAVY
wood sticks for diffusers. The outside of the container was designed to
maximize the wood texture, while the inside of the container was glazed to keep
the diffuser solution hygienic. We were pleased to be able to create a new
design for the ceramic container that matches the different scents of the DAVY
diffusers."
