At Milan Design Week 2019, the AI chair, created by Italian luxury living brand Kartell in collaboration with designer Philippe Starck and American software Autodesk, was at the center of attention.
I am a designer who researches the use of design and computers, especially the use of AI design called generative design applied to product design. Inspired by the collaboration of Philippe Starck and Kartell, I developed a chair design using the design parameters of materials, loads, and manufacturing methods and the AI of generative design.
In addition, I am researching and developing product designs based on AI design using generative design, such as golf putter heads, candle holders and cell phone holders, which have organic forms and structures beyond human imagination.
