These candles beautifully capture the essence of famous mountains from Korea, which are well-known around the world and hold a special place in the hearts of many tourists. While countless visitors come to explore mountains of Korea, there has been a lack of memorable souvenirs that truly encapsulate their beauty. Seoul boasts four major mountains, yet even Koreans themselves may not fully appreciate their magnificence.
These candles aim to depict the unique beauty of mountain landscapes from Korea, reminiscent of traditional ink paintings. They feature the actual appearance of Gwanaksan, Bukhansan, Suraksan, and Dobongsan, with each distinct features of mountain clearly recognizable. You can arrange the candles in a way that resembles a traditional mountain watercolor painting, and when you light them, they create a mesmerizing effect as the wax melts, resembling streams flowing down the mountain valleys. When the candles are extinguished, the rising smoke conjures images of tranquil meditation.

The Hanging Storage product is designed to expand storage in living spaces and office areas. It can be attached to shelves, doors, or other furniture to increase storage capacity. The minimalist design ensures it complements any space seamlessly. Made from lightweight and durable eco-friendly material, DuPont™ Tyvek®, this design takes both usability and sustainability into account.

These products are designed by identifying the properties of discarded leftover materials, understanding their characteristics during the processing stage, and finding design aesthetics in the process. They are created by combining the discovered properties from industrial processes with forms that can serve as everyday objects. By drilling various sizes of holes or milling diagonal paths into discarded aluminum pieces that would otherwise be thrown away, new possibilities for functional products were discovered. Additionally, by bending industrial materials or joining them with bolts through bending techniques, the processed materials were used to create products that combine functionality and aesthetics.

Lucky Soap is a product that combines the motivation and visual characteristics of the act of rubbing statues, often referred to as statue rubbing, with a soap that is used by rubbing with your hands. It features graphics of symbols of luck such as a clover, horseshoe, and die embossed into the soap, and adds a gradient effect to create the appearance of faded relief sculptures. Additionally, it includes fragrances like hinoki and citrus to deliver a fragrant experience associated with luck.

I designed the Parallel Series inspired by industrial pipes, which can be used as vases or decorative objects. The remaining materials from steel beams and pipes have various shapes due to tiny angles being cut out. In addition to straight lines, I explored the forms of pipes coming from curves. By deviating abnormally from the straight line, I could create winding shapes and tooth-like or gear-like forms useful for fixation. These forms allow for versatile fixation and repetition, which can be applied to office supplies based on the original shape.

Furthermore, industrial fitting pipe materials, used in construction, have very specific fitting standards like 90°, 45°, and T-shaped angles, allowing pipes to be constructed only at these angles. I harnessed these inherent structural characteristics and, through different methods, designed objects and spaces where various materials and colors, including metals, plants, and other items, can be displayed and showcased.

The Circular Connection accessory tray is a modern and unique accessory designed in the shape of a circular pill. It combines striking aesthetics with functionality. The design concept embodies the notions of connection and harmony, providing a beautiful way to organize and store various accessories while enhancing the aesthetics of the space.
Designed with various sizes and depths, it is ideal for storing a wide range of accessories, from small rings to necklaces, bracelets, and earrings. The Circular Connection accessory tray complements any space and can be placed on a vanity, in drawers, on a desk, or in various locations to enhance interior decor.
This tray is a perfect blend of functionality and design, making it a standout item that showcases the personality of user and elevates the overall look of the space. It is sure to garner significant attention for its combination of practicality and aesthetic appeal.

We aim to provide users with a new experience by combining the beauty of water droplets with comfort in our ruler’s design. The droplet-shaped handle of the ruler is designed to naturally follow the contours of the hand, offering a comfortable grip. It can be easily picked up from a flat surface and conveniently placed upright. Unlike typical plastic rulers that can easily break and be discarded, our droplet-shaped ruler is thick and sturdy, preventing breakage and adding a sense of value for the user.
Our product is made from 100% bioplastic, which is fully biodegradable, making it an eco-friendly choice that not only benefits the user but also the environment.

Our unique design features a tray and incense holder in the shape of a track, which harmonizes with nature and captures the essence of natural fragrances. The track-shaped tray is not only practical but also beautiful, allowing for various uses. The incense holder diffuses the soothing scents of nature to create a sense of tranquility and relaxation. We aim to encapsulate the preciousness and serenity of nature in our track-shaped tray and incense holder.
Nature inspires us in profound ways, offering opportunities for healing and inner peace. By reflecting the value and serenity of nature in our products, we seek to provide users with the soothing fragrances and comfort of the natural world.
The track-shaped tray is designed to evoke the feeling of natural terrain, following the contours of tracks. Its harmonious blend of curves and straight lines adds to its beauty. This versatile tray can be used for enjoying coffee or tea and also serves as a convenient storage space for small items.

The Mushroom Door Stopper is a door stopper designed in the shape of a mushroom, crafted from recycled wood scraps that would otherwise be discarded. Leftover wood pieces from furniture production often go to waste, but we have repurposed them into mushroom-shaped door stoppers that come in various types of wood, offering a diverse and unique feel.

These door stoppers not only serve their functional purpose but also create a distinctive and natural atmosphere by giving the impression of mushrooms growing within a space. By adding magnets, you can combine different types of wood to suit your preferences. Additionally, you can remove the mushroom shape and use it solely as a door stopper, or repurpose the mushroom shape for other uses such as magnets or wall decor.

All forms in nature appear irregular, yet they are constructed according to their own set of consistent rules. Humans, in turn, perceive and capture the beauty of such natural forms in various ways. We took inspiration from contour lines – which transform the three-dimensional aspects of nature into two-dimensional representations – to create our sculptures.
We used the contour lines of Dokdo (a disputed island in East Asia) as the motif for our sculptures, simplifying the contour planes of lines and elevations to craft our vases.

Under the concept of ”reinterpreting tradition," we have designed a mini serving tray with a modern twist on traditional high-quality furniture.
We approached the design with the aim of resolving the shortcomings of conventional ceramic serving trays.
Specifically, we used 3D printing technology to create the product, replacing the traditional, psychologically unsettling legs of a serving tray with different materials.
By combining ceramics with other materials, we were able to create a fresh and contrasting atmosphere that appeals to Millennials and generation Z. Additionally, this approach proved to be more efficient in terms of production, resulting in higher production yields, material savings, and cost reductions.

"Scent holds memories." The phenomenon where scents evoke memories is known as the Proust phenomenon. Scent also plays a crucial role in influencing our visual perceptions among our senses.
We aim to extract various sensations from scents, encouraging them to evoke memories associated with positive experiences. We seek to showcase a new genre of art where scent and objects come together.
In collaboration with existing product of Davi Co., the wood sticks diffuser, we have designed a new diffuser container with a natural and woody aesthetic made from ceramic material, complementing the overall sensory experience.

With the end of the crisis phase of COVID-19, most of the pandemic control measures have disappeared. However, the long-term social distancing measures have led to decreased contact and interaction, resulting in a phenomenon known as the "corona blues" due to the heightened feelings of depression among many people.
The product LINK aims to provide emotional stability and comfort to many people who are feeling lonely. It allows them to easily grow companion plants in their homes, offering more than just the value of a simple product by providing solace to those dealing with melancholic emotions.
Furthermore, it incorporates an eco-friendly wooden tray with a modular design and utilizes 3D printing for mass-production of vase components. This approach enables customization for each consumer and mitigates environmental pollution caused by excessive mass production through traditional plastic injection methods. It embodies sustainable value throughout the production process.

The products, including the Medicine and Tea Coasters, Mooncake Pen Tray, and Multipurpose Card Holder, embody a trendy take on the term "K-Dessert." These items cater to both Millennial and Generation Z consumers and those from the middle-aged and elderly demographics, offering a menu and products that appeal to all generations.
With a focus on mass production of craftsmanship, they incorporate a traditional wooden material and are designed using CNC machining techniques (automated machinery). These products, with their traditional dessert-like shapes, demonstrate respect for the past while carrying forward the essence of tradition into the present.

The Origami bookend is a product that consumers can fold and assemble themselves. It is manufactured with minimal processes to reduce environmental pollution, and consumers actively participate in the completion of product. This approach allows for compact packaging during shipping, reducing the space it occupies, and dramatically cutting down energy consumption in the distribution process. The use of an anodizing coating with various colors not only enhances aesthetics but also prevents surface wear and corrosion, ensuring that it serves as a long-lasting decorative object.
The Origami bookend is an excellent choice for environmentally-conscious consumers who also value interior design.

We created picnic gear by upcycling banners.
The premise of the project was to recycle existing banners, so instead of using new materials, we decided to repurpose the old banners to make our products. This approach conserves resources and reduces the amount of waste generated, which has a significant impact on preserving natural resources and reducing environmental pollution.
By flipping the existing banners, we achieved both durability and a more subdued color palette in terms of functionality and design. Our design approach was inspired by the sustainable products of our ancestors, particularly pieces made from scraps. By repurposing unnecessary waste and even the smallest remnants, we aimed to create new value while reducing environmental burden and achieving a unique design.

Hana Do Bag, created by Chillhan79 and Remake_Lab, was designed with the idea of accommodating the various ways people carry and use masks in their daily lives during the COVID-19 era. The shape of bag can be altered to suit user preferences and needs, reflecting the different ways people carry masks.
It comes in three different sizes, with the smallest size designed as a pouch that can be easily attached to bags. This allows users to carry small items like earphones or computer mice conveniently. The medium-sized bag takes the form of a crossbody bag, aligning with the current trend of mini-bags. The largest size draws inspiration from the traditional botjim of the Joseon Dynasty, providing ample space for carrying a significant number of items and enhancing mobility when worn on the back.

This project emerged from the collaboration between an environmentally-conscious company and a designer deeply committed to animal welfare. The primary goal was to create fashion products without using fur or leather and to instead print animal designs on them. To maximize product diversity, a strategy of using one design across multiple items (one source & multi-use) was employed.
The project has produced a variety of products, including Pareos (summer scarves) made from 100% cotton fabric, suitable for summer use. It also encompasses the creation of Illustraps, which offer smartwatch faces along with smartwatch straps, and umbrellas. The aim is to continue exploring various product options that align with the design aesthetic.

The Vibe.Dot is a smart stand lamp designed to provide enjoyment and aesthetic satisfaction in various forms of living spaces and modern lifestyles. One of its key features is the track structure, which allows for portability. The lamp base comes with a charging port, and you can attach the lamp head to it, using it as a standard desk lamp. However, when needed, you can detach the lamp head and use it wirelessly in any desired location. It offers features like white/RGB color temperature adjustment, dimming, and the ability to rearrange lamp placement within the track. This versatility allows users to create diverse lighting moods, catering to their preferences from everyday lighting to hobby-related activities. The Vibe.Dot also comes in various form variations such as table, pendant, floor, and wall lighting, offering a cohesive lighting interior design look.

The 00:00 (Midnight) lamp is a symbolic lighting fixture designed with repetitive circular forms, representing iconic shapes of the two collaborating teams. Midnight can also be seen as the intersection where yesterday and today meet, symbolizing the collaboration between Yun Kyung Hyun, who uses modern materials, and Eundam Studio, which utilizes traditional materials.
To maximize the effectiveness of the light, a unique structural form was derived using 3D printing, and the surface was finished with hanji (traditional Korean paper), adding a technique-oriented finish and distinctiveness to the lamp. The Midnight lamp portrays the changing colors of the sky from midnight to morning through a gradient effect. It offers two options: a black-and-white version transitioning from white to black and a color version transitioning from yellow to deep purple. This design provides versatility, allowing it to shine in various spaces.
