CP MODULE SHELF
We designed a modular piece of furniture, taking full advantage of the durable and low-deformation characteristics of recycled plastic, making it easy to put together and take apart. To balance the bold textures and varied colors of recycled plastic, we paired it with metal elements, offering a fresh reinterpretation of the material.
Using CNC machining, we carved precise patterns and grooves into the inner surface of the recycled plastic panels, allowing metal panels to be easily inserted and removed. The metal panels function as adjustable shelves and also act as clips to secure the upper and lower modular parts.
Users can create various configurations simply by stacking and securing the modules as desired. Additionally, all metal parts are interchangeable and can be developed in a variety of shapes and colors.
