TATE is modular furniture that is durable, practical, and adds structural beauty to create a natural focal point in a space. The design concept is based on structures that match form and function but emphasize structure, such as architect Yoshio Taniguchi's Toyota Municipal Museum and Mies van der Rohe’s Barcelona Pavilion, and uses stainless steel to emphasize sculptural beauty that is clean, strong, and accurately proportioned. The design exposes the precise assembly process, giving the user a direct sense of trust in the furniture.
