  • Designer LOWLIT COLLECTIVE
    LOWLIT COLLECTIVE is a repurposing studio that gives new uses into low-lit objects and spaces. Gathered with the same mindset of cherishing the vastness of the sea and the generosity of the earth, we are building a sustainable production and consumption community through a virtuous cycle of resources.
    LOWLIT is working on a furniture design collaboration project using small plastic pieces that cannot be recycled.

    2022
    - longlisted for Dezeen Awards 2021, Furniture Design of the Year
    - signed an MOU with Seoul Facilities Corporation for installing repurposed plastic benches
    - signed an MOU with Netspa for repurposing discarded fishing nets
    - Participated in 'Project LOOP' led by Lotte Chemical and Impact Square

    2021
    - exhibited at DDP Design Fair and Home Table Decor Fair
    - partnered with ICOOP Seed Foundation and took part in ’Climate Action Partners’ project
    - exhibited at ‘Tong’s Vintage’ / Daelim Museum of Art
