    1 Please introduce the company (brand).

    We upcycled discarded oyster shells and recreated them into K-Culture K-Culture products. Experience the special contemplation of an island boy who has pursued the value of the future environment and Korean beauty.

    2 How did you start the brand? If you have an interesting story, please share.

    CEO Woo Ha-young, who was born and raised in Geoje Island, the hub of Korea's oyster production, founded the brand in February 2016 with the mission of "developing new eco-friendly synthetic materials and manufacturing products that use discarded oyster shells and various services to solve mental health problems of the digital generation (millennials and generation Z) and pass on a clean and safe earth to future generations" to solve social and environmental problems in his hometown, which has recently been plagued by 350,000 tons of oyster shell waste per year.

    3 Please introduce a new product you are making or your most recent product.

    After successfully developing eco-friendly new synthetic materials that upcycle oyster shell waste, we have sold three groups of K-Culture products (such as Incense Holder), DIY products (Figurine), and OEM products under the brand Nature N through mass production (Made in Korea) and various channels at home and abroad. We also offer four services under the names of Toy Drama (education), Toy Art (art), Toy Party (indoor event), and Toy Festa (outdoor event). As for our in-house products, moon jar incense holders, octagonal bottle incense holders, and Halo plates are released and sold at Shinsegae Duty Free, the National Museum of Korea Souvenir Corner, our own online store, and Naver Smart Store, and in the past, we produced and delivered Pyeongchang Olympic mascots and NC Soft character products.

    4 For the people visiting the launch hall, please share the main parts of the booth and the concept of the exhibition

    All products released by Toysand are designed according to UPS (Unique, Pure, Simple) concepts. The products on display are unique designs with motifs of Korean National Treasure No. 309 Moon Jar, National Treasure No. 258 Blue White, and simple designs using simple curves and straight lines.

    5 Is there a reason why you decided to participate in the design launch fair? What are you expecting from the fair?

    I hope that the value of the future environment and Korea's unique beauty will be well conveyed.

    6 Please tell us about the direction that you want to take your brand in going forward.

    In the future, we are going to be focusing on developing various experiments and technologies with the vision of becoming a leader in an eco-friendly industrial ecosystem that has recycled oyster shells. We aim to launch sales channels in the U.S. via Amazon and in Southeast Asia, as well as top-end stores such as Shinsegae Duty Free and Lotte Department Store in Korea.
