  • Designer Yeonji Workshop
    We create new recycled leather products not only from discarded leather scraps based on leathercraft techniques, but also from life waste leather products that cannot be reused due to adhesives or linings, without resorting to bleaching or similar chemical treatments. By utilizing waste leather, we aim to produce a variety of products and spread awareness that discarded leather can be another valuable resource.

    Career

    2022 : Applied for a patent for a molding method using discarded leather with natural materials. [Waste Leather Molding Method]
    2022 : Selected as an occupying company in Seoul Upcycling Plaza.
    2020 : Obtained the national certification as a cultural heritage restoration specialist (Chilgong).
    2019 : Awarded the bronze prize in the Korea Skilled Artisan Competition [Lacquer Work].
    2017 : Awarded the silver prize in the Seoul Women of Craft Entrepreneurship Contest.
