UmBbit is a series of stand lights made of wood that adds visual interest by adding one light to an UmBbit, two lights to an UmBbit Dool, and three lights to an UmBbit Set. The lights can be stacked like blocks to create a different look in various spaces. The concept of lighting is expressed in an outward form, like the green shoots of a tree that has survived the winter. The comfort of wood and the warmth of light create a space of relaxation, and the time of rest challenges and inspires the user to think new thoughts and feelings.

"Lighting is new to me, but I had a lot of fun working with the design that utilized the physicality of the wood. Working with a new form was rewarding in itself, and I fell in love with lighting when I realized the warmth that the combination of wood and light brings to a space.
